HeartBeatTM services monitor the performance and availability of your voice processing systems, contact center services, telephone lines and other telephone-related services. IQ Services initiates test calls through the public telephone network, using your systems just as regular customers would. Greetings, prompts, response times and access to information are verified on each test call. Inputs are touch-tone or voice. Test calls are launched every hour or several times per hour, or as frequently as you require. Custom approaches to unique environments are available.
With a single telephone call, IQS can determine that:
- The expected greeting and prompts were heard.
- The caller had access to account (or other) information
- Which of several potential error messages was heard. You can count on
HeartBeatTM test calls to be extremely accurate in determining proper
operation and specific error conditions.
If a test call made to your contact center is not handled according to your specifications, IQ Services immediately generates one or more notification messages to inform you of the specific issue. Telephone and/or e-mail notification messages can be directed to a help desk, an individual, a voice mailbox or a pager. Escalations and other notification options are available.
If the need arises to view completed test calls, review test call flow documentation, turn notifications on or off or view various step response time charts, access to IQ Services' secure online monitoring site, MonitorControl.net, is available.

HeartBeatTM Services include a weekly report on the details of your test calls and error notifications. Custom reports can be provided.
To provide insight into the cause of errors, IQ Services makes complete digital audio recordings of the HeartBeatTM test calls and provides .wav files of these recordings via e-mail, as well as online via MonitorControl.net. With the recordings, you can hear what happened and go quickly to the source of the issue.
